I have been hitting with the Edge for 2 weeks now. Transition was natural for me. Grip size/shape, weight and balance suited me as soon as I gripped it. The greatest impact the Edge has to my game is more consistency with drops and dinks. I don't have to change my strokes as much. The paddle seems to provide just enough pop to clear the tape. I have lent it out to many in my community and many have purchased after hitting with it. It definitely has a little something that seems to help finish your shots. I am glad I was exposed to the Diadem brand before making this purchase. I could not be happier with this paddle.
While I'm relatively a New Player with a Ping Pong and Racquetball background, I like it better then my Paddletek Bantam E-XL. The shape fits my game better. I have a Powerful Swing for which it is more then adequate. The Touch and Control are Super. I've had no issues with the Quality of the Paddle.
Played a bunch of games with the paddle and could do feel the difference in the pop of a hit and felt I had good control
I’ve been playing with the Diadem Warrior, which I really like. The Edge however play’s about the same, but with its lighter weight it is more maneuverable for quicker response at the net…I’ll have to adjust my timing because it swings faster so some of my shots go long. It is definitely a paddle that allows you to have more finesse for better dink shots. So far I like it, just need to adjust to the quicker response.
Ordered a new Edge. Haven’t used it yet but in review it appears I received a Warrior, not an Edge.
